Do any of us think before or while having sex? When your in the moment you just want to feel the lovely affect of euphoria and absolute pleasure ... some of us yes are on birthcontrol, use a condom, diaphram etc... but there are others that are not. who are you to really sit there and judge what someone did while there legs were spread? Your implying she's a wh**e and shouldn't have gotten knocked up. despite the women out there that "plan" there pregnancy do we ever expect to get pregnant.NO we do not. You should think before venting because you sound ignorant.....

:) Although I do not agree with your life choices, its you life and I have to applaud you for being mature and responible enough to know that during this stage of your life you are not ready to have a baby. If you were to have this child he or she would not have the quality of life you would want it to have. You are not being selfish, you are just letting another baby in the future have a better life and a better chance then this one now. This may just be what you are needing in life to become clean or to become clean in the near future. Everythign happens for a reason, this baby may just be a sign for you and not necessarly a baby. I would recommend getting the abortion and give any future children you have a better chance in life!

While I am so sad to here about the predicament you are in, and I do NOT believe in Abortion in most cases. I think that abortion this early in the pregnancy would be the most selfless thing you could do. I was in a similar situation when I found out I was pregnant but stopped imediately. Just please, PLEASE have the abortion before the baby can feel anything

I don't think it's selfish at all. If you really can't quit, it would be the best thing for your baby.

I have 135 days clean from heroin. I got pregnant 2 years ago but could not stop using. I had a one year old plus was taking care of my husband who was a complete dead beat at the time. Having another baby at that time was not in the cards. Do not let anyone tell you that you are a sinner or a murderer. You are doing what is best. You can only beat addiction when you are ready.

good luck and hope one day you can have a sober life. I never thought that I would be sitting here with no track marks, getting trust back and being able to wake up in the morning not trying to find my next fix.

thank you! People say oh that's not a lot of time but to an addict that's like forever. And congratulations on 9 yrs!! I had been to rehab 4 times when it finally took. But I had finally hit rock bottom. So hoping in 8 yrs 7 months and 15 days I will be able to be where you are.

You have to take it one day at a time. 135 days is alot when it comes to addiction, that is something to be proud of! Don't let anyone take that away from you.

First let me say that I do not belive in abortion. I honestly feel like if you really wanted the baby, and wanted to quit, you could and would. I'm not saying it would be easy. This is from an addict, and you will always be an addict. 5 years clean and your still an addict. There will always be a chance of you relapsing. I understand completely, but as I am clean now, I can say, you have to want sobriety more than you want the drugs. You have to want your baby more than the drugs. I got pregnant as a teen, and chose pregnancy, and lost the baby anyways. My older sister is also an addict. She got pregnant and chose abortion, and now regrets that she didnt try. There is no easy answer. Your in one of the hardest situations, because no matter what choice you make there is no going back. I'm not judging you no matter what you decide. YOU have to make this choice. Only you know if your being selfish or not, and if this is something you can live with. Just please really think it through.

this choice is yours, and yours only.

but personally, i believe this baby may be a sign for you. Not a sign that you're ready to be a parent, but a sign that you should get the help YOU need, and to work as hard as you can to help manage your addictions.

this baby is a sign that in the future, you could live a clean, happy life, and have children that you'll love and be able to completely care for.
Even if abortion is chosen, know that this baby served a very special purpose, and helped you clean up your life, and put you on the right track.

good luck, and i hope you're able to get all the help you need with the baby situation, and your addiction.
