My sister swears up and down the ONE time she put vaseline on my sons yeast infection it went away. I told her I been using yogurt and baby powder and after 4-7 days its usually gone. His dr said vaseline works as a protective barrier, if you put it on a yeast infection its basically protecting the yeast. Well today she is yelling at me because I dont want to put vaseline on MY sons skin. Then i told her what the dr said and she said "the dr is just making an educated guess" WTF!!! I understand some drs make educated guesses but my son dr has 6 kids Im pretty sure she knows a little something about vaseline.

What do you think?

I think you're his mother, and if what you're doing works, then don't pay any attention to her.

if yogurt and baby powder work for you, then ignore your sister

also, wouldn't Vaseline keep the area moist, making the yeast infection worse??
