Bare with me.. emotional pregnant lady that's crying at everything today.... but I wanted to update you Dee, and share with everyone else who doesn't know me.....

My husband was an atheist all his life. I met him when I was wandering. I've been saved since I was little. When we had our son, we chose a "United Church of Christ" congregational church. Much less scary for an atheist to go to who only wants his son to be raised with wholesome values :) Slowly but surely people were placed in his life that led him to bring us to the church we go to now. A baptist church :) He was saved (not sure on the date) and baptized on easter sunday. This was not last easter but the one before. Now he is the youth leader and basically the youth pastor without the pay. WHAT?! A former atheist (not too long ago!!) is now a more learned and hungry christian than I am. I look up to him! God is good.

Also, I went to our bible book store..... looked at bibles and I found a special going on.... pocket sized HCSB for 5 bucks. Purple leather with a cross on it :) Meant to be.

We're pregnant with hopefully our second living child. After having a little bit of trouble getting pregnant... I researched pills and creams and charts and etc.... anything I could to help me get pregnant. I almost contacted a doctor. I heard God saying "let me do this for you" and I didn't know whether to believe it or what. I took vitex. Natural supplement. I figured it probably won't even work but it won't hurt me either. I didn't do anything else as far as pills or creams. I charted but not too faithfully. But lo and behold, it was enough. God did it for me. And though I'm terrfied we don't quakify for medicaid and I have no way to pay thousands of dollars worth of doctors bills, I'm standing on the promises that He will never leave me nor forsake me. He's got it covered. But even knowing that, I'm in tears. So hard to trust. Pray for me in that area. I need a divine slap in the face :)

Everything always falls into place mama :) congrats on the LO. SO got a random raise this yr too. I often get the feeling that God is punishing me for having children out of wedlock but it shows he is a forgiving God and still loves me.

My husband hated God. Hated Him. It was really hard. There wasn't a dry eye in our church when he finally was baptized :D So awesome.

Thank you guys for the prayer over our date last night. We were able to talk about a few uncomfortable topics, and we'll see what the result of those talks are. We did have fun though. And I had the most insanely expensive dinner, lol. We finished it off with an amazing creme brulee....and I'm now on the mission to replicate it at home! lol.

Thank you. It was really uncomfortable saying some of what I said. I struggle sometimes between that balance of respecting him, and standing up for when I feel like we're not a priority. But I took refuge in my 31$ filet as I talked, lol.
