I agree. I had trouble with my cycles before I conceived this baby. My body simply was not working. I got worried and frustrated. We don't have money for fertility meds and treatments. I bought Vitex, I weighed the options of getting some testing done... all I would have to pay for. As I was taking the vitex one day and thinking about getting more extensive things done, I felt God was telling me "Let me do this for you" I wasn't sure whether that was just me thinking He would want to do it for me or what but I didn't do anything else. I just took the vitex and charted like I was doing before. Lo and behold, she was conceived that cycle. It doesn't mean He's going to do that for everybody, or that He doesn't want people to use fertility drugs. It just means that for me, that specific time, He wanted to show me that He cared enough to help me in that area of my life. He wanted the glory for this baby existing, not a test tube or a medication. I don't really attribute the success to the vitex. Everything I've read anyway says Vitex only helps if you've been taking it for a while, not just a month.

Yes :) I agree with you. You're being obedient to God by being submissive to your husband in this area. If God wants you to not prevent right now but your husband is stopping it, its on him, not on you. Also, if He truly wants you to not prevent, He'll make your husband feel the same. At least, that's how I feel.

That's how I feel. It has all come after a lot of prayer, and I just feel God's given me that contentment with the situation. I personally want more children, but my husband isn't sure if he can emotionally handle it. Our two can be a lot for him, especially when he's having bad PTSD days. God knows best, and so for now, I will obey Him by respecting my husband.

:) I think I'm going to re-read it, but I want to read Mere Christianity by CS Lewis first.

I love reading. I just have no time for it anymore! My Mom gave me a Joel Osteen book for Christmas and I haven't even cracked it open yet. :( Once the LO gets a bit older I will look for those books. I love a good read!

Has anybody ever read "Save Me From Myself" by Brian Welch? My friend lent me this book when I first became a Christian when I was 18, I read it all in one day, just couldn't put it down! It's written by a former band member of the Korn, It's his own testimony of his journey that eventually led him to Christ. Some parts are hard to read, but this is so far my favorite book(after the Bible lol) I've been dying to read more books by him but, just don't have the time these days.

For those who asked the break was great. Much needed. It was nice to focus more on God and not worry about every day dramas and just trust in him. I have started being a leader at the landing at my church. The teens we have are absolutely amazing group of kids. I'm so glad that they have something like this for them. I have also been extremely busy with school.
