Yes! LOVE that book.

His testimony is very interesting, you can find it on youtube.

I probably wouldn't trust the Joel O book as far as I could throw it, but I have major issues with him to start with.

Lol why don't you like Joel? I've heard a lot of people don't like him but never understood why. We watch him every Sunday, and while there has been like, 2 times we didn't agree on what he said or was preaching and we turned it off, for the most part we love him.

I'm not big on television preachers, but I know some do serve a higher purpose. i'd have to say my favorite mega church pastor is the one who wrote A Purpose Driven Life.

Rick Warren. I don't think he's as bad as what some other people do. I don't always like his books because I feel like he takes scripture out of context (sometimes), and I did have a huge problem with him including other gods in the prayer he did for the President or whatever. But something tells me his heart is in the right place.

I would rather go to a real church but DH doesn't trust anybody to watch our kids, not even our own parents. And I'm not even about to attempt to make my 2 and 4 year old sit in during a service and expect them to sit still and be quiet, or my 4 month old to not start crying from teething/gas. So t.v. and reading our Bible is our church, lol. We also watch Creflo Dollar.

Oh okay, I see

I think his heart was in the right place. Obviously I don't know the guy personally, but I like that fact that he lives simply even though he's got a mega church.

I thought a little more negative about him until I watched Lord, Save Us From Your Followers. It's a little "liberal" if you want to call it that, but I think the message of Christ's love was loud and clear.
