I drank tea all the time while pregnant. And i do when im not pregnant also. I use to Lipton decaf tea bags and make tea like that. Then i add ice for iced tea. But i dont put sugar in it. I use to put tons of sugar in my tea then i decided to try and be a little healthier, so i dont put sugar in mine anymore.

Most docs say that you can have between 200 and 300 mg of caffeine per day, so even if it's not decaf, a cup or glass of tea is fine. i drink tea as well and did during my last pregnancy also. I need the small amount of caffeine to avoid the headaches so if I have a mug of tea in the morning or a glass of iced tea in the afternoon it's perfectly fine according to my OB and my FIL who is a retired OB.

It wasnt my favorite taste at first. My aunt use to drink it with no sugar and i always thought it was so gross. But i got use to it and now i like it. I would say if you need to add sugar just dont add alot if you want to try and eat and drink good.

I know the feeling, LOL. I didn't drink any caffeine as soon as I found out I was pregnant the first time but after a few weeks I felt awful and my doctor said it was far better to have small amounts of caffeine than take Tyelnol every day for headaches. So I started drinking small amounts and I felt much better. And my daughter has been fine (not hyperactive)

Just make sure that you get uncaffeinated tea...if you have too much caffeine then the baby gets restless making it hard to sleep.
