When should I go? Mama of three babes 3 kids; New York 1257 posts

I've been having bad contractions and cramping since Sunday night. They were coming about 7 min apart all week. Monday I got checked I was only 1 cm and no change was really going on with my cervix at the time. Since then I'm still crampy have timetable painful contractions on and off all day and night. Just this morn I've had (tmi) a lot of BM's and been contracting. I just had 5 in a row that were 2 min apart. I'm hoping for a vbac before my scheduled csection . With my first son my contractions weren't painful, but I went to doc to get checked I was already 4 cm and picking up contractions on the monitor I wasn't feeling. I had him in 4 hours. I guess my question is, when should I call doctor?

I would call now. My doctor told me if you already have had children then call as soon as the contractions are 10 minutes apart. If you are having then 2 minutes apart I would be on the way to the hospital calling to let your OB know.
