I'm late for my period and I just started working out a few days ago but I'm gaining weight instead of losing. I'm wondering has anyone worked out and their period was delayed? I've already taken two pregnancy test and they were negative which I expected because I had a TL in 2009.
periods can be delayed if u are doing more like working out and ur body not use to it if ur stressed it does it too and if ur not sure go to a doc home test lie my first 3 the home test all said i was not and i was a month almost two months and i only went to the doc becuz i was getting sick in the morning which not all women have hope this helps
some women actually gain before loosing.. the body is holding onto the water and fat.
I have over worked my body so much that I delayed my period before. Make sure you're not overexerting yourself?

That's happened to me before. I got my period symptoms, bloating, weight gain... ect. while working out, but no period... I saw my OB for it. You are either lacking something in your body. (Calcuim, Iron), or just the initial process from a sendentary to an active lifestyle can hinder it. In my case, I had an iron deficency.
What is a TL?
