Quoting The (super kinky) Master:" I'm overweight and sad that you think I have a bad personality :("

overweight or obese?

I feel bad... but was being honest. Not that I don't have any obese friends.. and it's not like other personality traits don't shine through. but I honestly do think being obese is caused by negative personality traits. Not that you HAVE a bad personality.

Ahh. These?
"honestly, the lack of discipline, lack of caring enough about their health, their life, their ability to be active and do normal things does. "

That has nothing to do with being obese. That has to do with the person...not their weight.

Like I said, I'm obese and I do "normal" things,

I agree with this. It makes me sad to see the cycle continue from parents to kids and to see parents too unfit to play with their kids. It's not really the weight, but their fitness level. You could also be "skinny fat" and unfit and still unable to play with your kids. It makes me very angry to think about the increase in health care costs because of obeseity. I can't understand why people don't connect the food they eat and their health. I wouldn't say that fat people disgust me but it makes me concerned. I often wonder too, 2/3 of Americans are now overweight so if overweight people are now the majority why is it that overweight people still feel "disgusting?" Shouldn't the thin people now in the minority feel disgusting because they don't fit in?

This was 2 months after I had Rory.

No, I don't. BUT I am one of the ones that does have a thicker bones, I can't even wrap my fingers around my wrists. It doesn't take anything like that into account. Just that I'm heavier than I should be at my height, nothing about frame size.

I'm the same way, my fingers can't reach around my wrist and my ribs are huge. I was always told to add 10-15 pounds to the weight for the average frame size. So at 5' 7" the "ideal" weight is 135 lbs and I would have to add 10-15 pounds due to my large frame

I'm 5'4" and when I was 130 I looked way too skinny. I'd be happy to be 150-160. I've put 9lbs back on since I had my son and it's frustrating me. I've been so hungry lately to the point where it hurts like stabbing pains and I get sick if I don't eat though. I haven't had that since I was pregnant, but I had my period, a week late albeit, and I had 4 negative tests... And my stomach has started to firm up... It's really weird.
