Are you over/underweight or have PCOS??? Those are two great reasons why your body will. Go to a fertilization specialist and have tests done.

Im seeing an RE but they say im not "infertile" until ive been TTC with no success for 1 year because i was on bc. I only went to see them to get info to promote ovulation.

I would seriously recommend seeing a new RE then. Regardless of how long you've been trying to conceive, he should have treated you for irregular cycles. I just can't wrap my head around him giving you all that "advice" but not telling you to eat low carb. It sounds to me like he doesn't know a whole lot about PCOS and he should have at the very least given you a work up for it. An RE who isn't knowledgeable about PCOS is like a farmer who doesn't know about fertilizer.

Are you sure you stopped ovulating? Just because you didn't get a positive opk doesn't mean you stopped. You tested on like CD 26 according to a previous post. If you ovulated, you could have ovulated CD 14-16. You need to read up on using OPK's too, you asked if a faint line on an OPK was positive. It definitely is not. The test line has to be darker than the control and I'm not sure why you didn't know that already. If you are going on that alone, then you shouldn't be worrying about not ovulating....you're not testing correctly and don't know what to look for that's all.

If you have stopped ovulating, simply losing 10-20 lbs could get your cycle and hormones back on track.

And don't take this the wrong way...but you're getting married in a year! Why would you want to deal with pregnancy, planning a wedding, fitting into a dress, and so on before you get married?! :P

Not all overweight women with PCOS have ovulation issues. I fall into both of those categories :) I didnt get pregnant for 8 years, but I lost 50 lbs last year and miraculously conceived... naturally :D with NOOOO CLOMID <3

OP-- Dont be so hard on yourself girl :) it'll happen when you stop wanting it! I keep tellin ya that haha it sure did for me :) think positive!
