I'm a Norse Paganist/Spiritualist.
I believe in the Norse Gods to a point (though I believe their powers and stories have been greatly fantasized over the centuries), though I believe they come from another dimension/plane rather than another planet as is the traditional belief. I also believe that these other planes of existance are how are souls travel through the afterlife to eventually reach Valhalla, Helgafjell, Hel, or Folkvangr ... which plane we're destined for.

Non-denomination christian. My husband is jewsih.

I was raised by catholic parents who werent religious but went thru the usual morions regarding the sacraments. we didnt go to church.
as a kid i went to a couple of other churches with friends.
In college i had religious roommates and went to church with them and i loved them and going to church.
After college i switched to Presbyterian.
after moving to NYC i looked for a church and ultimately found a great one that was non-denominational.
Since getting married about 6 yrs ago i havent found a church. I plan to start looking. I've found a couple of temples that we may attend but nothing that excites me or my husband.
BUT, fellowish is important to us so we will find something soon.

I mean, I choose to believe in the scientific explanations for something rather than the Biblical Creationist ones.

Nah, yeah...... I'm just sayin'... isn't by definition science not something you can "believe" in because it's based (or supposed to be based) in fact and not faith?

That's just what I meant. :P

Ah yeah. I just turn to logic and reason instead of stories. Idk, never really had to explain it. My family is pretty much fully agnostic anyway so they don't care that I don't think there is no god. But we did live in the Bible belt and I got tired in school of hearing kids argue against having to be taught evolution.

I think I'm the only Hindu on bg. Just like my town. I have to drive 90 miles to go to temple.

A lot do here. In HS, we had a form parents could sign to opt their kids out of being taught evolution, but up North where you are, I doubt it's commonplace.

I'm agnostic because I'm not silly enough to rule anything out.
