Exactly! People whinning about it won't change what has already been done. I think if children are properly educated on the topic then yes they are very well aware of what consequences could come from making such a big decision. It isn't that their brains aren't developed, it is that at that age they're cocky and don't believe it will happen to them.

Then it would come down to what that specific states guidelines are regarding statue of limitations. Also whether or not a DA would go forward with charges since this state doesn't define a minimum age.

Care to share a link to back up your babble? Of course a link from a reputable website would be nice.

And neither are 18 year olds not here in nebraska. So 18 does not prove anything. Also if they werent physically ready they wouldnt be having periods and getting pregnant

Yes ANYONE at the age of 13 can say no. They know what sex is and they know what can happen. The society we live in does not help the issue.

Lol whatever you say. The law says different. So does psychology. Oh yeah, what a horrible society protecting vulnerable and impressionable children.

I dont know what i am talking about yet all of this was taught to us in f**king high school. Pardon me my friend but age does not define how developed a brain is. I have my own opinions on the subject. You women are just living in a life of mumbo jumbo on this subject. Underage girls and adult men have sex everyday and its never getting reported and itll never stop. Some parents feel different about the subject then you guys do.

Wow you are misinformed.

When you're an adult the age isn't an issue. So your age difference between that and your so its irrelevent.

Age has nothing to do with brain development? so were born with fully formed brains and we never change or grow mentally? Please maybe you, but the rest of us do.

Do your research.

 You have no clue what you're talking about. So basically we're all just born with fully developed brains and as we age they stay the same? No. Age absolutely tells us where people generally are in their developmental stages. Mumbo jumbo? :? That's exactly how I'd describe your posts. They're hardly even coherent. How do they never get reported? Is that even serious? Of course these crimes are reported, maybe not all of them. Parents can feel however they want, that doesn't change science and it doesn't change the law.
