When it comes down to it people either need to teach their kids to be respectful of others watching the movie or not bring their child. Do you really think that just because other people don't know how to properly parent their children and ruin a good time for everyone else that it is ok for you to do too? My DD is 5 and went to her first movie at 3. She knows if she talks above a whisper to me if she needs/wants something or gets up at all we leave and we don't come back until she can prove she is old enough to be respectful to others. If the kid isn't old enough to understand and behave in such a manner they shouldn't be going to a movie.

Novali's first trip to the movies she was hypnotized by the "BIG TV!" that she was good.... last movie SO took her to she got restless and acted up. She isn't allowed to go back till she is 6 years old because of that.
