Weight Loss Goal user banned

I really want and need to lose 40 pounds in the next year. Currently I sit at 184. Half way to my goal from 2010. Well, two years later and I need this to happen. I need to finish losing the 'baby weight'. I put 'baby weight' because at some point the baby weight can't be blamed on having a baby and I feel I've passed that point.



So with my last large loss of 35lbs in 3 months I wasn't healthy about it. I basically filled up on water, watermellon and rice. I can't do that again. I'm nursing LO.



So what is the best way to set a goal? Weigh in once a month and aim for a 5 lb loss? Every 2 weeks and aim for a 2 pound loss? I think over and over 40 lbs to go... And I'm stuck because if seems so unachievable. 75 was daunting, this is too. Because I can't just cut out all food and be done in Dec. breastfeeding is more important to me.



My current eating pattern.. Coffee with creamer first thing, pumpkin flax granola with 2% and fresh fruit, large lunch, snack (fruit and nuts), dinner, evening snack (yogurt). In between there a jarred Starbucks coffee, water, chocolate milk, watered down juice, ginger tea(lots).

I usually go week to week, aiming for a 1-2 lb loss a week.

Cut out as much coffee as you can
Drink only water
Watch the nuts for the salt content



I'd say expect 1-2 lbs a week.



Add more veggies and lean meats (poultry, fish)

I love coffee, but I need to get my butt in gear. Thank you for the tips... I'm going to weigh my self first thing and make Friday my weigh in day. I'm going to do this. I need to focus on my goal...

I'm aiming for TTC. Although looking good in family photos is going to be amazing! That's what I'm trying to use as motivation.. And wearing a dress lol

hello.. how is everyone today? i hope fine. but i see yall are trying to lose weight. i have a challenge group with a few more spots. this will be the 2nd time ive had a group. but it is very worth it. i weighed 280 and now i am 240. and ive lost weight and gained some muscle and i feel great already who wants to join us..

You have to work hard to achieve your weight loss gaol.
Do preoper regular exercises without any interval and prepare an effective weight loss diet plan to succeed in your weight loss purpose.
