Rally offended there aren't you. I acknowledged my wrong doing and apologized. You on the other hand keep justifying why you are right when you aren't.
I haven't been judging you. Explaining why you are in the wrong isn't the same thing. Nice try though. Trying to play the old switch up. Trying to get the heat off of your back. lMFAO.

How can you say it doesn't apply to special needs children? When you have NO idea if a person is or isn't purely looking from the outside. You judge them purely on the fact that they are x years old and still in a diaper. That is the point.

Quoting CrapBag [VBA2C]:" Gavin will be 5 in March and isnt pt'd. He is no where near. He goes into hysterics when he is put on the potty chair (he is still routinely put on it at school and it hasn't calmed him down.)"

K has sensory and proprioceptive issues with not being able to balance herself and she has meltdowns when on the Potty. I'm not going to force it or make it a negative thing for her. Shes obviously not ready and I'm ok spending money on diapers as long as she needs them lol

We have her Potty out and she follows us to the Potty. Shes aware of what its for. Things have to be done at a child's pace not their parents and some people don't understand that

For some to think she has a mental disability tells me they know nothing about autism. They should though. 1 in 54 boys is now diagnosed with autism. Its not as rare as people think it is

Special needs can be anything. Visible or not. My theory that a child should be PTed by a certain age only applies to average children. Working in the medical field i know every disability is not going to be visible. I dont see it as judging its an opinion. Nothing is going to change my opinion either. I feel as though if nothing is physically or mentally wrong with a child they should be PTed by a certain age.

Quoting On hold.:" I listed out a bunch of reasons why potty training may be delayed. Of course it got overlooked. Judging people and expecting the worst is so much better than cutting people slack."

Insecure people judge. People who are secure in their parenting decisions don't feel the need to point out things about other children and parents that have no effect on them.

You should have STFU a long time ago. I made a stupid decision doesn't mean I AM stupid.

At first glance how can you tell if they are "average" or not.

Fuck outta here with this mentally bullshit.

No the stupid decision you made shows that you are in fact STUPID. Who contacts someones family on facebook over a BG post? It showed your stupidity and that you were stalkerish as well being that the post had nothing to do with you.

DD1 is average. She will be 3 in January. She is ridiculously intelligent, but isn't interested in the potty. I am not going to push it. We talk about it, but she is scared of it. I am working through it with her, but she isn't ready.

She can walk.
She can talk.
She can dance circles around your grammar. But she isn't ready and won't likely be on your timeline. I'm not lazy. I'm not offended by your post. I think not every average child fits on the timeline you've given.

Its not like im going outside and saying "you should be ashamed your child is in a diaper at such and such age." My personal belief is that a child that does not have any special needs should be trained by a certain age. I dont know if that 5 year old with the diaper on has autism or not but im not vocal about it either. Youre trying to turn it into something that its not.

Making a bad call is not the same as lacking in intelligence. Nice try though.

Just because you're not being vocal, doesn't mean you won't be judging them and potentially treating the person/family different.
