OP- keep in mind...after hours vet visits cost a little more than normal business hours. I would put the dog outside or lock it up. Then keep the kitten comfy through the night and take her in the morning to the vet. Like I said, I paid $65 for after hours. If I had gone during the day, I would have paid less.

Dont put the kitten out. granted, a lot of people do that because it's better than letting them suffer. But this might be easily fixed.

iDK about where you live but when our Dogs needed meds we couldn't afford at the time we were able to apply for Care credit. It's like a credit card you can use for pet health, your health, and some other things. maybe they ffer something like it?

I would be homeless for my dog. She is my pride and joy and my first baby. She is my number one priority. I paid almost 6 grand for a week vet stay for her when she was 3 months old. You find a way to afford them, just sayin.

This! If worse comes to worse you can do like we did with our dog. We couldn't afford the vet bill and he was suffering really bad. We told them he was a stray and we didn't want him to suffer.... :(

Some emergency vets you can make a payment arrangement with, if you can't try to make her as comfortable as possible and take her first thing in the morning to the vet.

Then you can't afford her. Find a vet that is open and take her in.

I don't want to, nor have the heart to do that.

I have been to the after hours vet before and this one costs wayy more than the vet. She is sleeping on my lap right now. I guess I will just try to make her feel comfortable until I can go in the morning. :( I am so upset right now. They would sleep together and everything. She attacked her right in front of me. :(

Why did you have your 8 week old kitten around your dog??
Why didn't you separate them?

I do. She is behind the gate in the kitchen and my kitten is out with me. I was going into the kitchen and she followed me ((like she always does)) and in a split second, my dog attacked her. :( I already feel like shit about it.
