Quoting :)LiveLove2012(::" I like both names. I'd never name my child Layla only because it was my kittens name lol, but I do like ... [snip!] ... Marie Penny. It still doesn't flow too well, but how often do you plan on introducing her by her first, middle and last name?"

I may use Maryanna or something that doesn't end in y. I cant change her last name its my last name lol

Niah Maryanna Penny
Leila Maryanna Penny

Or another spelling of Layla so that there isn't a y in everyone of her names..

I was just going to suggest Mariana, lol - I think it flows better, even though I do like Mary quite a lot.

I prefer Nia , Naia or Nyah - I love the name, and the meaning is beautiful ("purpose" in swahili). But I don't care fir your spelling at all - too confusing and overdone.

Layla is beautiful, but it's way too popular for me at the moment.

You may also like Alia / Alaia (ALL-ee-ah and ah-ly-ah) and maybe Soraya (sor-ay-ah, it's Arabic and refers to the Taurus constellation of stars).

Naia Maryanna is nice. I didn't know it meant purpose but I really like that

And I did like Layla but it is really popular right now, I think its on the top 100 names? That was part of the reason I was thinking about Naia. Well when I see her I hope I know which of the two to pick.

It is! Lovely choice.

Laila was one of the top contenders for my son 3 years ago - I think it's beautiful, but the popularity really put me off. According to the social security list, it's sitting at number 33 and has jumped up quite a bit over the past 6 years or so.

I would definitely see what she looks like - good luck!

I named my Daughter Nhiya. Some people try too hard to pronounce it but usually get it right. The spelling on the other hand ..usually wrong but close. I feel her full name flows very well...
Nhiya Madilyn Leona and of course her last name fits...her father is of German descent...so it fits. So she may hate me when she's older for one...having such a unique name and spelling...and two for giving her two middle names. Oh well. :)

How about Anaya. It means "Completely Free" which is kind of beautiful in itself. It has basically the same sound as what you are going for. Also for the middle name have you considered Mariel? I think that it would flow well with your last name.
