I hear a lot of bad things about Mirena. >.> Is it really that terrible?
I've only ever used NFP after I got off Depo.

I wasnt saying anyone was lying. I know birth control can fail. My daughter is a product of birth control failing and im allergic to latex so i know from experience that it can in fact fail. My point was that how can someone jump on this girl for saying the forms of BC shes using isnt working and think shes lying then try to justify BC failing as an excuse for their actions. Maybe im wording it wrong. Either way gotta run. Good luck OP

nobody said she was f**king lying you dumb ass c**t. She said hormonal birth control didn't work for her and we were naming off the non-hormonal birth control. If you would f**king read before you open your god damn fingers to type you would f**king get the f**king point.

Also i had the 5 year mirena and had to get it removed after 3 bc i kept getting these unexplained pains that didnt go away until after i had it removed and i gained weight from the hormones. Definitely not the BC method for me after i have my last.

personally not implanon and not the pill. NFP might work if you could be dedicated to it.

I'm posting this totally unbiased but...

I actually understand why they won't tie your tubes. It probably has nothing to do with the dr but all to do with your insurance coverage. The guidelines might be age or medical reasons and your dr doesn't want you to have to pay out of pocket for it. If you aren't able to get your tubes tied maybe your significant other can get fixed? Just a thought...

Do they induce because of high BP? Can't they maintain with meds?

There's nothing wrong with WANTING to be induced early. It's difficult toward the end!!!! Im so ready to meet my son!!!!!!!!!! But I didn't know drs would even induce you that early for non-emergent reasons!!! I have high BP, heart issues and high risk for pre-e but they still won't do my c-section until 39 weeks. Even with my son and very high BP they wouldn't induce until 4 days after my DD. I however did not have a positive induction story, which ended in a c-section but others fair very well. Good luck with everything!
