It's been almost 3 yrs since I had a newborn..
I'm starting to buy things for this baby..
but I'm lost on what sizes I'll need (I know NB 0-3month,..etc)

I know with my son, he was born 6lbs 5oz he only wore NB for about 2-3 weeks.
but I don't know how many outfits I should get this time.

and same goes for the following sizes up until 9months.

and for diapers. I can't remember that either.
HELP!

I'm just starting to buy clothes for my new baby too : ( it's so nerve wracking!!! My SIL just had a girl (she already has a boy) and i'm gonna have a boy (already had a girl) So we're doing a clothing exchange program where we send the old clothes to the other so we don't have to buy as much, i got a giant box of clothes and all it's gonna cost me is the money to ship a box to her, works out great!!

Well my daughter was in newborn clothing for 3 months and diapers for 2 months. She stayed in 3-6 the longest (10 months and she still fits) I would het 5 newborn sleepers to start with and go from there.

Every baby is different. My son was in newborn clothes til he was 2 1/2 months old, 0-3 month til he was 4 months old and now at 6 months he is still in 3-6 month sizes. I put a 6-9 month outfit on him yesterday and he was absolutely swimming in it. And as far as diapers go, he is still in a size 1. Will probably graduate to a size 2 in 2-3 weeks. And it all depends on how often you want to do laundry, if you don't do laundry often get him a week or 2 worth of each size then do laundry when it gets low on clothes. I wouldn't buy to much if you think this baby will out grown them as fast as your other LO did. It's pretty difficult to judge how long they are going to be in certain sizes. I got lucky and got a lot of hand me downs that were in really nice shape so I didn't have to buy much and had more than enough of every size.

Oh I didnt see you wanted to know up until 9 months. She was in newborn until 3 months. 0-3 until 5-6 months and 3-6 from 6 months to now at almost 11 months. 6-9 is still big but she can wear some. As for diapers she wore 1s from 2 months until 4-5 months and then 2s until 7 months. She has been in 3s since 7 months.

Probably only 1 1/2 weeks for newborn. Total waste to have more than 3 outfits that size. 0-3 fits just is a little big.
