my name is jasmine and im a 19yr/old college student. im pregnant and have been afraid to tell my mom because of a small situation this year that cost my mom her job.
my boyfriend secretly tape us having sex and he uploaded the vid to a website and told his friends about it and they told their friends until just about everyone on campus and in town which is a really small town had seen it. i was a freshman in college having to hear whispers everywhere i went b/c not only was it me and him on tape but one of his friends tried to join in and we had been doing drugs. my mom got into an altercation about it with one of her coworkers tht ended up getting them both fired for disorderly conduct. we filed a police report but ntn was done and ntn still hasnt been done because his dad knows a lot of people. the vid has been taken down but it doesnt even matter anymore. we had to move from the place that my mom grew up and i grew up. I had to drop out of school and we're livin with family now and my mom is taking depression medication can't remember the name. this all happened from february and we moved this summer. i forgave my boyfriend for what he did over the summer and we got back together and are still working on our relationship. my mom doesnt know because it would cause her to freak out. i've seen a doctor about my pregnancy and have been taking my vitamins and taking care of myself but im beginning to show and she's beginning to get suspicious. if i tell her that Im pregnant with my boyfriend's baby she would be disappointed because of all he put us through but im gonna have to tell her im just scared about what it can potentially do to her psyche. any help?

you just have to tell her...the longer you wait, the worse her reaction because you waited so long....

No offense ment - but I never would have gotten back with someone who did that to me. And I would have pressed harder to make him more responsible for what he did. What he did was illeagal and wrong.

Lets be realistic here. You did something stupid and in turn your boyfriend did something even more stupid. These actions fucked up not only your life but your mother's life as well. She deserves to know the truth and quite honestly if she decides that she doesn't want any part of you or the baby's life after this you have to accept that. You are an adult and you have to accept the consequences of your actions and not put blame on your mother after she has already sacrificed so much for you.
