Breast Feeding in Public, how do you feel about it? m 18 kids; Summerville, South Carolina 286 posts15th Oct '12
Personally I feel like its a perfectly natural thing and I intend to nurse in public. I'm not going to go hide in a grubby bathroom. I mean, if the place has a nice nursing area set up like my mall does than great ...but why the hell should I sit in my car or hide in a bathroom when, unless you were staring at my t*****s to hard anyway, you wouldn't know!?

If my daughter was hungry, I fed her. I never covered up, and never went anywhere else.

When I breastfed, I fed LO wherever I was at no matter who was there or saw. I don't mind seeing a woman breastfeed in public. It actually makes me admire them because it's hard for some people.

I've done it. I've never had anyone say anything to me or give me dirty looks. I put her in a carrier so I can feed hands-free.

I formula fed and even if I did breastfeed, I wouldnt do it in public. However, I have no issues with other moms breastfeeding in public. Baby has to eat! :D

I always NIP. LB is 18 months old and I've always gotten a few snide looks here and there but I really don't care. I don't use a cover either and I have never gone to a bathroom or changing room to nurse him.

I wasn't comfortable with it either, I wouldn't sit in a dirty bathroom though, but I've gone into dressing rooms before. And the car. I'm a super prude though, haha. I think it's fine for other women to do it, I don't get offended when I see it, and I think it's silly that other people do.
