<blockquote><b>Quoting 1st1ontheway:</b>" Sorry you are having to deal with that but IMO its a good thing that they are doing their job. To many ... [snip!] ... To many times I have heard of children slipping threw the cracks. Can't they come look at your place when you are off work?"</blockquote>
I work normal business hours. I'm gone from 5 in the morning until 6 or 6:30 pm.
<blockquote><b>Quoting Proud Mommy of 6:</b>" The have to investigate EVERY call! They will be back out!"</blockquote>
Actually.... They dont investigate EVERY call. They only investigate the calls where its been called in by a police officer or if the caller says they have witnessed the abuse or neglect. A neighbor we had was heard hitting and screaming at his kids... Day after day. I was sick of it. The boy told me that he got hit and they had no food and there were drugs in the house. He was 7. I called and the lady told me that if i didnt see those things with my own eyes then they couldnt investigate. And they didnt.
<blockquote><b>Quoting P3RvYmCp3rv:</b>" IF they were literally just out there then they won't. BD just tried to pull this shit on me since CPS ... [snip!] ... worker called and said kids are still alive right? I said yeap...Cylus is still going to school right? Yeap. She said okay."</blockquote>
You don't live in my state or have my caseworker. She said in the voicemail she was calling to set up another interview.
<blockquote><b>Quoting ~*Mommy of 5*~:</b>" If i were you i would talk to the case worker that comes out next. Ask them to either give u a supervisor ... [snip!] ... in... Try to get records of that too... Just in case this keeps happening. You might have to find an attorney to help you."</blockquote>
I dint think they're allowed to give out info on the people who call, and he might be reporting anonymously.
I went through the same crap with my ex and after a few times of coming out and finding nothing (as usual) they just called me from then on. I finally had to get an attorney who filed charges on him and then the judge forced CPS to file criminal false reporting charges on him.
<blockquote><b>Quoting My Lil' Monsters:</b>" I would seriously ask what more do they want you to do about this. They may suggest an attorney. This is ridiculous tbh."</blockquote>
It really is.
hopefully he lands his ass back in jail soon so this resolves itself

They will here. I have called CPS in a similar situation and they intervened.
I don't particularly mind it since I have nothing to hide, but I can not take time off work for this bullshit if it's going to be a recurring thing.

Oh, thank you then :)
I talked to the caseworker and the charges are nothing specific, just "neglect". But I talked to BD's mom and BD has CPS charges for neglect and drug use so he obviously didn't call on himself. We all think it was his father. I will talk to her about stopping the repeated reports at our meeting on thurs.
