Since I spent so much time on BG, this will be my contribution. Every time I make something "new" I will post it here. I know when I'm short on time it's hard to find a quick recipe with regular ingredients. I hope you find this helpful!

I cook almost every night, and I rarely cook the same thing twice - it's just not my style. However, I don't cook anything fancy that requires a good amount of skill, I'm not that good LOL. I usually cook things with "normal" ingredients, that are quick and easy, and good for all ages. I also rarely cook with dairy because we're allergic, lol.

So, I

As a chicken sauce? It would work, but would definitely taste like it's missing something. I would probably try rice as an alternative.

italian baked chicken with wild rice :)

ingredients:

olive oil to spread on the bottom of casserole dish
2 cans of canned tomatoes
1-2 (depending on how much you like them lol) onion(s), diced.
about a cup or so of fresh spinach
cup of fresh mushrooms, sliced.
butter spread to put on top of chicken breasts
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
original mrs. dash
emeril's original essence

preheat oven to 375 degrees.
spread some olive oil on the bottom of the casserole dish
lay the chicken breasts in the casserole dish
sprinkle spices ontop of chicken breasts
spread some butter ontop of chicken breasts
pour tomatoes (drained) ontop of chicken breasts (add more spice to tomatoes if you like)
put onions and mushrooms ontop of chicken breasts
put in oven for about 45 mins
take out and put spinach ontop and cook for another 15 minutes.

take out, serve with rice and enjoy because it's delicious!
