I have a quantitive HCG test two weeks ago, they still do not have the results. The doctor told me it'd be 24-48 hours. I called and they said that they have not received the results back. Pretty freaking grand considering I received the bill over a week ago, but still don't have my results, so I know the lab got them. I really am considering refusing to pay the bill until I get my results. I still have no AF and am testing negative with FRER.



Anybody have this happen to them? I don't even know what to do.

I'd call every single day, several times a day...especially since you've already gotten a bill. that means the tests have been run and processed already.

I call every morning and right before closing for the past week. They still say they haven't gotten them. I go up there in person about twice a week.

Yea definitely refuse that bill since they refuse to tell you the results... Horrible Business manners : /

Absolutely refuse to pay the bill. And instead of asking for results, ask to talk to a doctor specifically.

Does your clinic have a lab onsite or do they have couriers pick up specimens throughout the day? Hopefully you've gotten your results by now! It takes not even 30 minutes to run the test....if its quantitative(exact number) it needs to be spun down asap.
If your doc uses a lab offsite I would try giving their client services department a call and speak with them. You could atleast see if the lab has your results and maybe they just never faxed them to the doctor or possibly whoever entered the order might have done it under the wrong patient/doctor.

It was below 1. They are offsite, but it shouldn't have taken as long as it did.
