Quoting CrapBag [VBA2C]:" I know, right?! I've been reading that for this and delayed sleep, melatonin is bad. His dr said that a lot of kids on the spectrum suffer from delayed sleep phase."

I'm really excited for you and G

Quoting .Colleen.:" Wow, Laurie that is so great! I am so excited to hear the results from this!"

thanks!
I have to keep sleep logs and fax them in. I wish I had kept a copy of the one from the last 2 weeks to help see improvement.

OMG Laurie, I'm so glad you have an answer and a solution!!!!

Myles has sleep issues too and I do give him melatonin......I'll have to ask his pedi about recommending a sleep specialist.

You could probably ball park it and see if there is improvement

from what I gather, melatonin does work - depending on what the sleep issue is. If they have a hard time falling asleep but then stay asleep and can wake at a normal time, melatonin is a good solution.

Myles sometimes wakes up. Like, it happens real randomly though. Last night he was up from about 1-3:30am but then he could go a week or so before it happens again. Then some weeks, he'll get up 3 or 4 nights. He also has a hard time falling asleep

I wonder if they could make it brighter :/ lol
