What are some points to touch on? I have mediation tomorrow and I am somewhat confident in my abilities and what I have written down, but I'm scared to death because my lawyer can't be there :(
My daughter is 2 and has been with pretty much full time since April, and 100% full time from July 9th onward because my ex is deployed to Japan.
i think id ask for more time till ur lawyer could be there.
ANY conditions that you want. if you two can't agree, it will go to court which your lawyer can be there for :)
Are they not allowed at mediation or are they just busy?
Exact schedule, any restrictions you want to put on him, basically ANYTHING you want can be brought up. I didn't want my son going over BDs dads house so that was included.
Also if you don't want your son to be introduced to all his new girlfriends you can say they have to be dating for at least 6 months or a year or whatever you want before they get intrpduced, talk about who's allowed to babysit, say that like he can't have anyone babysit unless he's asked you first and you can't do it, and nobody that you don't know.
Quoting Click Me Click Me!!!:" i think id ask for more time till ur lawyer could be there."
They don't let lawyers into mediation at all. :(
Quoting *Booger Biscuit's Mom*:" They don't let lawyers into mediation at all. :("
they do here but that sucks.
my friend whos ex is deployed gets thier son i think she said it was 7 weeks in the summer and if he cant have him his family is allowed to have time with him (its because they live in different states) then he technically gets in a week during xmas break and he can have ever other weekend if he is in town
