Here is our playroom. It's pretty bare except for toys, a pull out couch for visitors, and melted crayon art that's needs to be framed. How can I make it more fun? Obviously I need stuff on the walls, but I need ideas!

The lighting is terrible. I think J got my camera one too many times. It's also a little messy. We are working on him cleaning up with no help...

I'm not sure if you can or even want to paint but chalkboard paint on one of the walls might be fun!

Little throw rugs in animal shapes (every now and then target has some for like 2.50). You could get the boarders teachers use on bulletin boards and use them to line artwork or something. I got the velour nursery art (3 piece set) and use that on the walls too :)

I know someone on here posted their playroom with Dr. Seus themed walls. I thought that was pretty damn awesome.

def a bookcase......attached to the wall. And I agree, paint the bottom 1/2 of one wall with Chalkboard paint.......and put an area rug down, I had 3 of them, so each of my sons knew which was "HIS" space.....especially when they were working on special projects/lego/etc....

The dollar stores sell posters that you can put on the wall with the alphabet, numbers, colours, shapes and the human body.

Paint a section of the wall with chalkboard paint.

Buy one of those floor mats that look like a city and some cars to play with.

We have one of those city car floor mats. We took it upstairs to his room though because those are wood floors.
