I dont want to gain a whole bunch of weight during this pregnancy. I have only gained 8 pounds so far,(5 months along) & i know ill probably be gaining alot more in the next four months because i dont really watch what i eat...(though i know i really should.)
So i was just wondering, what is safe for me to be doing while baby is still growing?.What excersises are okay & wont hurt her?. or me?.
Eat healthy and don't exercise unless you've been doing it before your pregnancy. Walking is something I picked up because I was high energy when I was pregnant with ds, but you don't want to put the stress of working out on your body and baby unless you're already in routine. Bit you're going to gain in a healthy pregnancy, its part of it.
You shouldn't really start any exercise that you didn't do before pregnancy. I would suggest speaking with your OB and maybe start walking one to two miles a day. And, of course, eat healthy.
Yoga, walking, swimming, light cardio.
If you were scrub before pregnancy you can continue to work out all the way through your pregnancy. I was going to the gym every day before I conceived this one and my doctor said its fine to continue going and working out as long as I'm not pushing myself too hard.
Even if you werent active before you can always walk for excersize while pregnant.
