How long after pregnancy did your knees hurt? (If they did that is) Before pregnancy I loved running. Around sept.11 give or take I joined the gym and took it easy at first. 2 weeks ago I decided to ease my way back into running. The first day I would run for 2 minutes, walk for 3-5, than run another 2 on and off. A couple of days later I did the same thing but ran for 3 minutes at a time. That was a little over a week ago and i havent been back. My knees hurt to walk and have a hard time going up and down stairs. Some moments I feel as though my knee is going to give out on me. (both hurt but left is worse -never had knee problems before pregnancy-). Is this normal? I know things loosen up during pregnancy but should my knees be back to normal by now? I had my daughter 5 and a half months ago. TIA

Well I read that you need to very slowly ease into runnign. Like, don't increase except for once a week or so. You might have been increasing things too fast.
