so im 3 and a half weeks PP and yesterday my flow started to increase again. I didnt do anything different then I have been since getting home. Before yesterday I barely had a flow and just needed a panty liner, now i need pads again. Im not soaking through them so i know thats a good sign. I did notice though that i passed a good size clot (compared to what i have passed in the past) a little bit bigger then a canadian toonie. Yesterday as i said is when it started to flow heavier then it was and thats when i started noticing i was passing clots again, and now i passed this one. Is it something to be concerned about or is it my body just repairing itself again. I havent passed any clots like they tell you about in the hospital but im not sure if passing clots again is normal. Sorry if my post was a bit of a jumbled mess, my brain stopped working halfway through it
No idea what a canadian toonie is, but the clots shouldn't be bigger than a golf ball. It is pretty normal though for flow to increase and decrease before it finally stops. The longest it took me for it to stop was 9 weeks and the shortest was about 3 weeks. When it lasted 9 weeks, i had some retained bits of stuff in there and I had to have ultrasounds to make sure my body was taking care of everything naturally. When i passed stuff, it would pass a clot and I would bleed heavier for an hour or so afterwards and then it would slow again. Rinse and repeat until everything was resolved.
What is a canadian toonie???

Lol! I googled it. It's a canadian $5 coin. It looks to be around the size of a half dollar.

I passed a blood clot the size of a grape fruit 3 days after i had my daughter .
and rushed to the ER , nothing turned out wrong just had low red blood cells but thats normal ..
i wouldnt worry too much unless they are bigger then a golf ball .
