I agree, they're so comfy too!! Just make sure you get a good few, enough to last you for each wash load!

While Mastitis is scary, its normally caught early and VERY treatable. You shouldn't let that scare you away from breastfeeding mama.

Period pads won't hurt if you use them only til you can go to the store tomorrow and make sure to clean your breasts before nursing. Just change them often.

I got my cloth breast pads off eBay 4 years ago, so I can't remember the seller, but I'm sure you'd find LOTS by googling "cloth breast pads" too. Amazon sells them too.

Anything with a sticky glue part is really a no no, even breast pads that have the sticky side. I'd honestly try using paper towels or even a wash cloth before the pads.

But wouldn't it be better to use a wash cloth or paper towels?

The chemicals in disposable pads (and diapers) are TERRIFYING. So, avoiding those at all will decrease your risks of infection and other issues greatly. Disposable b**b pads make my nips crack and bleed and gave me chemical burns! Switching to cloth was a miracle for me!
