I gave birth two days ago and tore both sides of my labia, damaged my urethra and tore that skin just below the opening. I am in constant agony and really would love some advice on some ways of easing the pain of peeing, sitting and general pain.
It is getting to the point of being unbearable and making me so depressed! I will stand by the fact the stitches are way worse than giving birth!

Sitz baths helped me a lot, also invest in this.

It helps with the burn that can happen from peeing.

Sitz bath. Don't use the numbing spray. You could use it for the first couple of days but after that, don't. If anything is wrong down there, you wouldn't be able to tell because the numbing spray would mask it. Give yourself a few more days, it will get better. Promise.

If its burning while you pee, take a squirt bottle full of water and squirt your vagina as you pee and afterwards.

I tore both holes completely when I gave birth. I had surgery one year ago to close what didn't heal with stitches, so i feel your pain.

I had this sitz bath that I had to take 6 times a day. it's a big relief when you soak in the water. There's a tube in the bath that i had that let water soak exactly where the stitches were. that's all you can do for now. You will feel better in a few days, i promise.

With my last son, I ended up with 4 LAYERS of stitches. I couldnt even pick up my son while sitting because it put too much pressure on my stitches. Only time helped unfortunately. :(
