What would be a proper punishment? Mrs. Potato Dick Madagascar 20356 posts

Because his ass is in trouble when he gets home.

They have a color chart to mark their behavior that they bring home. It ranges from orange, blue, green, yellow, red, black. I noticed that there were originally yellows and red for a couple of days, but had been colored over with blue and green. When I asked him about it, he said the teacher made a mistake.

I talked to her on the phone this morning. There were no mistakes. He's been changing his color on the bus after he gets out of school so he can play outside and watch movies when he gets home. Not only has he been lying, but he's been a sneaky little shit. I'm pissed.

Obviously the movies and outside play are done. I need to do something to keep him busy because otherwise all I hear is whining. I was thinking about going to print off some math worksheets and let him work on them for a while.

How long would you let the punishment go on? Lying is not okay and will not be tolerated.

Extra homework sounds like a fabulous idea. Not sure for how long though.

Extra homework or little household chores for a week would be good

i would write a sentence about lying and make him copy it however many times you think he needs to and he'd lose something that he really vaules outside time a toy tv or whatever

I was gonna do it for a couple of hours, but then I dunno what else. I was thinking of extra chores around the house. If he just sits around being bored, he ends up f**king with his sister when she's just minding her own business and pissing me off even worse.

Yeah, I agree with this. When I was grounded it meant no friends, no tv, no computer, and no phone. Of course I was older, because I was only allowed 1/2 hour of tv a day anyway well into high school. He should still not be cooped up inside though.

Does he have spelling words? You could have him write them all x amount of times. Or chores would work too. I'd do it for however many days he was lying.

He's at school all day and gets his recess and all that shit. I'm not really worried about it. I feel like if I let him go outside he'll think "shit, I'm out here and I'm getting to play. I can continue to lie and I'll still get to come outside".
