is there anything in particular you do to curb your appetite? I have days where I have no appetite, and days where I am ravenous. I drink lots and lots of water, so that isn't an issue. What are your favorite things to snack on, aside from the usual suggestions?

I eat chicken. I usually bake extra one night, and snack on it the next day. Protein keeps you fuller longer.

YAY! A thread for the REAL-THICK ladies :) Okay down below is a pic of me. I just took it this morn. PLEASE over look the pissed off face. I am bloated and very grumpy due to Aunt Flo, I am cramping and in a bad mood. Also, excuse the no bra, I am off today and spending today home since I feel like crap, so no bra today.
My name is Ashley. I have 3 kids, I am 4 months PP. I am 22 and currently weigh 236. This is the heaviest I have ever been. I just had my son 4 months ago and in the first 6 wks I lost 26 lbs. Then started my pill and gained 16 lbs :( I have been struggling terribly. A few days ago I went to get my pill refill and they saw my weight gain and switched me to a lower dose that I'll start tomorrow. This too happened after I had my 2nd, I was loseing really well then started the pill and gained some weight and they changed the pill to a lower dose and I started to lose again. I have never beeen big or had a problem with my weight till the pill.......I hate birthcontrol and pregnacy! lol. I have been haveing to re-start several times....hopefully this will be the last.

I worked a long day yesterday so my eating was great. It's rare that I get a break so I eat on the go IF I am able, usually ready-made protein drinks. Today hasn't been the best, but I'm doing ok.
Good job doing well tho despite being busy thats always when i skrew up. Think we should have an official weigh in day every week? just post here:)
Hey everyone! Sorry I have been MIA- we lost power for 4 days due to the horrible hurricane Sandy. I am back! Hope everyone is doing ok.
you should know that starving yourself wont make your body change.it will for some time, but it will all come back plus your health will get jiggly.
no please do not think im a smartass,. im just a girl struggling with weight for the last almost 4 years.
and i came to that on doing it, eating 5 times day is good, and it keeps your metabolism going = you burn calories all the time.
there are so many foods out there of which you can eat however much of it you want that its AWESOME.
one other thing, BREAKFAST, eat a big healthy breakfast every day! it will keep you less hungry through the day- i started to love oats- i make them on a zillion different ways = super delicious and makes you full for a long time.
work out DAILY. i do not meab work out 10hours, but do a bvit of something each day ( i am doing yoga daily-just cause im obsessed with it) and then one or two days week i run for 30 min-1 hour. and im in love with cassy. why? cause her workouts are one song long, and work wonders- youtube her, pop pilates cassy- and browse through them.
i can see (im being active for a month now) how my clothes fit differently, but what makes me more happy-i feel good about myself, my migraines have gone down for 50%, and i got stronger- i can run longer, i can lift more, i can do more rep....
