Crap.....so I decided to make my DD a red and orange tulle tutu skirt to wear with a black leotard and then put Elmo's face on the leotard for her halloween party at school Wednesday. She has giant Elmo slippers and a furry Elmo backpack she can wear with it and also a red bow. Problem is, they had no red tulle on a spool at Michaels! And I saw none at Joann's but maybe I just didn't look well enough so I'm going to call them tomorrow. If I can't find any, should I just get the big tulle that is sold by the yard? Or get white tulle and somehow maybe dye it red?? Like with the RIT dye or whatever it's called...I'm just wondering how difficult it is to make a tutu out of the tulle by the yard. That seems like a shit ton of cutting :/
