Not sure if I should apply... BastiansMommy 1 child; Lacey, WA, United States 2433 posts

I'm 35 weeks pregnant...but my boyfriend and I desperately need money :?
I found a job I'm qualified to do...being a teacher's assistant in a headstart classroom. I would be making 9.74$ (which is .70$ more than minimum wage in WA state) working 8 hours a day 5 days a week. I just don't know if I could do that right now being huge pregnant :x I have problems walking through the grocery store, let alone anything else... Plus, would they even hire me, seeing as I'm so far along in my pregnancy?

What do you think? Should I apply? Or wait until after LO is born to try to find a job...

Apply, but they probably won't hire you

I would wait till after they may hesitate due to your condition shitty but and you don't want to make things worse for you being so pregnant is there something you could do from home till then?

Apply because you never know. The worst they can do is say no.

Apply, but put down when you can start as 6-8 weeks after your due date.

I'm a full time student, which I get money from the VA for...I do online classes. I've never had a job and I have no idea where to start looking for a stay at home job :/ Plus I desperately want to get out of this house. I never get to leave and all I get to do is hear about my mom bitching.
I'm open to any ideas at this point...we're trying to save up to get out of this Hell hole

I would say apply, They may work with you and let you start now, and continue after the baby is born. It's worth a shot. Plus you need all the money you can can to help that baby, Also after the baby is born try and find maybe a part time job, helps you get out of the house and get some cash. But if you are looking to work at home maybe try selling stuff like Sentsy or Avon things, I know a lot of mothers that do that and make a pretty penny doing so. It does take some money to start up but it's worth it in the end! :) Good Luck! :)

If my SO could get a job I wouldn't be so stressed about it...but ugh. I'm trying to apply but the stupid internet here sucks hairy monkey b******e, and won't load the stupid page. And I'm not good with people or selling things...so I couldn't do the Avon or Scentsy stuff... lol

lol I have an anxiety disorder that makes it so I panic when I'm around too many people...I can't even ride the bus if there's too many people because I'll start hyperventilating and my chest starts hurting  It sucks
