are you breasts supposed to be completely empty after feeding? i still have milk after feeding my 4 day old... even after feeding 25 or so minutes on each side
Nope. It's normal to still have milk=) My 2 month old will nurse for like an hour and I still have milk. And she'll have it going down her cheek lol... You probably just have really awesome milk supply=)
I don't think they are ever totally empty since they make more as you feed. Mine are never empty anyway!
No, I don't think I ever had a moment where my breasts were completely empty the whole 2 and a half years I breastfed my daughter.
No. But then again my supply is ginormous. As soon as I'm done feeding her I can feel them filling up again.
a four day olds tummy is the size of a cherry. so your defiantly going to have extra milk. at that point i needed to pump cuz i had so much milk. i pump five ounces from eac breast. i suggest not pumping unless you have. it will make you produce more. im 7 weeks pp and its suggest now starting to even out. he still doesnt empty one breast
well thank you for the answers i just always feel so full kinda engorged even right after feedings. i guess i will get used to it. i pumped with my first and after stoping i still had milk for 3-4+ months i guess i am just a milk maker i had my milk in less then 48 hours this time around
