so i will be talking to the school agian about this little girl. she claims to be Kaylee's friend (they are 5) but today i heard her after ignoring kaylee ask kaylee "how do you like my new dress" kayle said it was pretty and she flat out told kaylee she was dumb and ugly... kaylee was obvious upset and tried to ignore it.
this is the same girl who will say mean things to other kids ,threaten kaylee if she doesnt do something she wont be her friend... the teacher has seperated the girls. i know this litle girl has it rough just had her long hair cut off due to lice .. but shes the biggest kid on the class and im tired of her picking on the kids. ive talked to the teacher 3 times about it ive told the girl what she said isnt nice. but what else am i to do. kaylee has cried because his girl makes fun of her speech which ive brought up to the principle and speech therapist.
what is a parent to do about a 5 year old mean girl. kaylee refuses to say anything. ithink shes scared she wont have friends but alot of girls and boys like her. it breaks my heart

that's sad. My daughter is shy and doesn't like confrontation either and she had a bully in her class last year. The girl would steal things and then she told my daughter to give her, her snack that she's not eating. It broke my heart and I brought it to the teachers attention and the teacher sat down and talked to both of them together. The teacher had to constantly call and talk to the mom about her behavior but I don't think the girl changed. Glad she's not in the same class this time because I would take my daughter out of school. No kid should be afraid of any other kid. You did all you could do and sometimes you have to ignore the behavior and tell your daughter don't play with her anymore and to ignore her rude comments. Kids like the attention they get so they will continue to do it. The teacher needs to have a conference with the parents about this.

the teacher litterally calls her parents all he time for her behavior. the teacher has told kaylee to tell her when gianna is mean to her and kaylee wont do it... my biggest fear is other kids joining in and kaylee regressing. ill bring it up agian today to the teacher .. shes already have them on other sides of the room but she can only move gianna so far from all the kids shes mean to. same girl made fun of kaylee for using a carseat.. kaylees clothes (nothong wrong with kaylees clothes ) kaylees complexion. her speech.. calls her dumb. kaylees hair color .. she even called kaylee fat and kaylee was at home s*****g in calling her self chubby...
only thing is kaylee is far from chunky.. she wears nice clothes .. shes the only white kid so her hair has blonde streaks natually.. and legally kaylee has to be in a carseat..

that kid sounds like she needs therapy instead. She obviously has heard things like this at home either said to her or hears someone saying it to someone in the house. My daughter's 1st grade teacher moved the girl by herself in the back and then one time her desk was almost connected to the teachers desk all the way up front. If the parents don't take action then the kids are going to continue to treat people like crap. so sad.
