ya he outgrew that head peice i had to loosen his straps to make him fit and then he was to loose. after his last check=up the doctor said i could take it out now because he has such good head support. his straps are much tighter now without that piece there

That's good. I get a tighter fit when I slide the clip down, tighten, then slide the clip to the proper spot.
