Mine was disappointed.. And wasnt truely accepting until after she was born

She was more worried about the struggles i was going to have to face..

And she was right. My life has been hard. Its hard trying to go to school with a kid.. Giving up your good teenage years. Its not like baby sitting or playing house..

Maybe but probably really disappointed. 5 yrs later my stepmom still is embarrassed, but everyone else does not give a rats butt. You'll be fine, hardest part is breaking the news

Oh wow.....15.... My son is 14 :/. Just tell them. Don't wait for the "right" time, I can assure you there is not one. I was 15 and pregnant before. She may be mad, embarrased, sad, hurt. She will still love you and try to remember that when you see her reaction. In time everything will work out.

I was 16 when I got pregnant. I found out and told my mom 2 days later when I had time to collect my thoughts. I made the mistake of telling her when she was driving. DO NOT do that! My mom slammed on the breaks and we were almost rear ended. She asked if I was joking, cried when I said no, then took me straight to urgent care for a pregnancy test. She cried more when it came back positive. I told my dad over the phone. They both didn't talk to me for the rest of the day. The next day they reassured me that things would be okay and we'd figure out what to do. They made sure that I would still go to school no matter what. They were very supportive, have been since the second day. They realized they couldn't change what has already happened.

I would just come out and tell her. I told my mom about an hour after i found out i was pregnant with my 1st. I Was 16 at the time. All she said was ' How does that make you feel?' But i had ZERO support from her from the time i found out to the time i delivered. I had to get medical insurance and everything by myself. I lived with my BD and his family was very supportive.

Im 18 now and expecting number 2 but i honestly dont plan on telling her until im further along and showing more. To avoid all the drama.

But if i were you i would just sit your mom down and be honest with her. Tell her your pregnant. Thats not something you can hide forever. Good luck tho hun!

She might be embarrased, disappointed, angry, sad or all at one time. But it will pass sweetie. You need to tell her so she can help you get the proper medical care you and baby need. Don't put off telling her. If she finds out from another source it will only make it worse. Remember you can always come on here to look for advice and support as well. Good luck

My mom found out herself and although im 18 i wish i would have told her cause she probably would have taken it alot better then her finding out herself.

but you can try and sugar it all you want but at the end of the day its gonna come out the same way no matter what else you say or try to add onto it.

but make sure she is sitting down first..

Quoting ahhclueless:" How are you suppose to tell your mother that her fifteen year old daughter is pregnant? Help, i'm freakin out!"

It may go better then you think...i am 22 and was terrified to tell my mother lol she handled it ok but shocked but actually kinda happy but i also didnt live with my parents so they had time to cool off...My mom and me had a very rockey mother-daughter relationship though and the baby is actually making us form a better one now...so you may be slightly suprised.

I just told my mom I missed my period and took a test and it was positive. She was really supportive and im sure she felt like she did something wrong more than being embarrassed but I made sure to get a job and she never once had to take care of him or pick up my load so in the end she was actually proud of how I handled it. Im sure she would have rathered me not beinf a teen mom though lol its definitely hard but you can do it :) if yoy ever need someone to talk to just message me.
