So my one teacher is a complete dumbass and didn't check the website she told us to download a program from. It ended up being a virus. I went into My Computer to delete the programs it downloaded. But now I have this annoying ass tool bar at the top of my web browser. I used Google Chrome and idk how to get rid of it now.

How do you know it's a virus?

After my computer freaked out I ran my anti virus and it tried to delete the virus but couldn't. So then I just started deleting all the things that was downloaded. I'm just going to uninstall Google Chrome and see if it gets rid of it.

It should be in ad or remove... or can you right click on it and see if there's a removal option there? Toolbars aren't usually viruses, you might have forgotten to unclick the download button for it.

It wasn't the tool bar that was the virus. It downloaded a few programs when I went to download the program my teacher told us we had to to get credit for the assignment. I completely deleted all the programs that downloaded. I tried uninstalling Google Chrome and it's still here.
