Good for you for trying to quit! :)
You can come here and vent your frustrations out on us! We'll understand!
I think when September rolls around I'm going to stock up on popsicles, and lolipops anything to keep my hands busy so I don't think about smoking.
Thanks Jess! Ill admit I dont talk about it to ppl b/c I fear judgement, but when I saw this thread....it came at the perfect time.
popcicles and lollipops are great ideas as well!
i guess the hard part comes for me when i go to smoke at that time when it feels crucial...after eating and when on my laptop (like right now :( ) .
do initial cravings last for weeks, days, minutes....when do you begin to not be so dependent on them?
sorry lots of questions...
3 days huh? probably the longest three days of a smokers life, but not as long as it could be. i think i can do that.
ive heard that of wellbutrin. unfortunately not safe in pregnancy....a shame.
what are your opinoins on being pregnant and cold turkey vs. patches? i still have some from when i tried previously quitting, but was told by different professionals it could be bad for baby or others said good.
or is it easier in the long run to just go cold turkey?
"Because the patches don't deprive the baby of any oxygen....."
that makes sense. id never looked at it that way.
perhaps using the patches i have now to help with the psychological part and then around a month when im out it'll be easier to not smoke...hmm..just throwing out ideas. trying to strategize best for actually doing it.
thanks for all the ideas and input! :)
It was a great idea...and nice (well not nice...but you know?) to know Im not the only one.
i want some of that sept. 30th shit.
it's going around....
i am too. but, it's money problems.
