Well of all the child support cases I've known about, FLA doesn't mess around. Why is it taking so long? Does he keep switching jobs or something?

Quoting Turd Ferguson:" Do you have a job? It's hard to tell someone in different shoes what to do. As I said before, a lot ... [snip!] ... lot of us mommas don't get it and don't expect it. But it doesn't mean the OP doesn't have the right to feel the way she does."

I have a job, I had two jobs until I started getting more hours where I work at now. I get child support but very rarely, and I don't rely on it:roll: I was agreeing with another mom that no one should rely on it. Of course, I don't go through the courts b/c I'd just rather not deal with the bullshit

I don't even know if he's working, and Florida has always been this slow.

that's weird. I'm really sorry! Sometimes it takes being on their asses like every single day to get them to act. Hope it doesn't take too much longer!

None of the states seem to expedite anything unless you are on state aid.

I hate to say it but it's your responsibility to care for her, even without support. You had the baby so if that's 100% your choice to keep a child a woman should be willing to 100% support said child. I hate the idea that a woman is allowed to end a pregnancy but men are damned even if they want nothing to do with a child they're still forced to pay.

Don't even for a second pretend you wouldn't be emotionally rocked and need an outlet *if* the father of your child suddenly decided he wasn't going to be a father. Not all dads start out not wanting to care for the child. My daughter was 6 when this all came to be.

but he also decided to 'put it in' fulling knowing what 'could' happen.
not ALL men want nothing to do with the kids when there 'chicks' pregnant.
It's after when they realize shit gets tough.. So the women should have to do it all by herself then, because the man didnt realize what he was getting himself into?
