I lost my first pregnancy at 8 weeks. I had VERY light pink spotting for about 3 days and then it turned dark red & very heavy. You should really go the E.R and make sure your body will rid of the stuff inside of you or it could cause an infection.... I am sorry ma, I know the feeling, but this pregnancy is successful I am now 26 weeks. So good luck:)

Can your body still have HCG in it? IDK if you aren't certain there's a possibility of pregnancy, as in TTC or otherwise know it's a possibility, that could be a reason?

I've lost 6 babies and never had any retained articles of conception (the technical term for needing to be cleaned out after a loss)---most women can miscarry naturally with no issues and no real need to be examined in an ER>

That being said, if she DID have retained articles of conception, she'd have signs of infection now (severe pain, bleeding, foul smell, fever, systemic symptoms, etc), so i highly doubt she has any of that remaining.

With an 8 week loss (which would have been roughly how far along she was give or take), the hormone would all be gone before 2 months post pregnancy UNLESS she had retained placenta/fetus---but IF she had, she'd have shown symptoms of infection (see above post) long before 2 months after the miscarriage.

IF the line is a real line and not an antibody/evap/ghost line, the line is probably from a new pregnancy (unless she's been stringently preventing) and not remnants of HCG from a previous pregnancy.

I lost the baby 2 months ago. A month a go I did 2 tests to make sure I didn't have any hormones of preg left and they were both negative for it..
But after vomiting last night I suspected the worst so
I did two tests today and they're faint lines but a positive no less. However the last 7 days I've had a period.. Or what I think it is.. No pain or anything tho. Prior to these last 7 days.. I had my implanon taken out about 2 weeks before that :)

The baby was actually 13 weeks.

If you were due in mid april, you'd have been around 16-17 weeks now (i'm 6 weeks behind that roughly and I'm 10 weeks)--and you miscarried two months ago, so subtract about 8 weeks. That leaves 8-9 weeks. Doesn't add up to 13 weeks like you say. was your due date off?

Either way, even with a 13 week loss (I have lots of experience with losses at all kinds of gestation), you'd have lots of symptoms if you had retained placenta/fetus (which would be the only explanation of HCG still being in your system 2 months later). Since you've had a negative HPT since you lost that pregnancy and have what you say are faint lines now, then the only explanation would be a new pregnancy.

As for your current bleeding, if it is light/spotty and not red, it could be implantation issues or your body could be low on progesterone because you implanted late and your body started the shedding process around the time the egg implanted, so your body got mixed signals and needs a little time to sort itself out. Some bleeding CAN be normal in early pregnancy. it never has been for me, but I now many women who have had healthy pregnancies after having early bleeding. Could be a subchorionic hemorrhage (a bruise in the uterine lining), or a pool of blood from implantation making its way out finally, or it could be a low lying placenta near your cervix being irritated by you moving around, it could be a lot of things. Only time will tell if the test gets darker or if you get a blood test and hour HCG is doubling properly---I'd call your doc when you can and ask about a blood test to ease your mind since you've had a later first-trimester loss previously.

I got a super faint with the pregnosis pregnancy test too, so I went with a first response, still super light so I just bought a digital for $20 to find out for sure. Definitely was pregnant and now I have a 14 month old. Good luck :)

Either too early or it's a chemical pregnancy which could explain spotting. I'd go get blood drawn so you know where your levels are.
