Quoting The (super kinky) Master:" seems odd that the 89% of Australian men that are still intact aren't dying in the streets of STD's and ... [snip!] ... not to have unprotected sex with hookers and how to clean your dick should be compulsory high school classes in the USA."

Super strange! I am surprised that my intact Son has not had all kinds of infections and things. Like his Dad, his Dad is mutilated and that resulted in all sorts of infections and things.

Having a vagina makes you more prone to getting STD's too... should I have mine removed?

Yeah, and even fewer in Europe and Asia are sliced and diced.

Wonder why they're not dying off left and right? Maybe... HYGIENE!?

Right!! It amazes me how some people are not questioning why it's rare in most places around the world.

For some people it's easy to just follow what's seen as the norm around them, and not really look much further to see what's going on in the world.

I love this! I've circumcised but what a way to put it into perspective!!! Gave me a chuckle and thank goodness I'm not having any other kids cause if I had a boy I'd be put in a hard spot.

Hahaha! ^This! I agree, it is strange how the 90-95% + of uncircumcised men in the UK aren't dying in the streets too! I guess it's probably safe sex and hygiene education we have :D

Out of curiosity, what is usually taught in sex education in Australia and the UK?

Here in the UK it is dependant upon wether or not you go to a Catholic School or a Nondenominational School. I went to Catholic School so my sex education was quite limited however my partner went to a Nondenominational School and his sex education was quite vast. However young people are easily able to access sex education here anyway which I spoke about in another thread so I will copy and paste it into here in a minute. In terms of hygiene parents attend classes prior to the birth of their first child which covers everything from labour, breastfeeding, bathing and how to care for baby private area particularly a girl when changing their nappy (diaper) to ensure you wipe the correct way so not to cause an infection and for a boy the importance of not detracting the foreskin to clean because it cannot be at a young age then advised on what age the foreskin will naturally start to be able to detract to clean under there. Then througout school hygiene and the importance of how to clean your bits is huge importance whether you attend Catholic School or a Nondenominational School, Nurses are brought in at least every couple of years to go through hygiene and do a reminder. The hygiene talks cover everything though not just private areas but just general such as wearing deodorant, washing your hairbrush and not just your hair, how important it is to wash your hands.....I'll go look for other thread with sex education in it and add....

EDIT : Yes we are incredibly fortunate here. Absolutely everything in regards to sexual health is free in this country, all birth control, all abortions, all advice and access to nurses and doctors, midwives, everything you can imagine. They run "family planning" Monday-Friday anywhere from 8am to 8pm in hospitals and clinics and you are never more than about 20/30 mins on the bus from one, because it's all NHS too it is all integrated so you can be sitting alongside someone who is in to see a Doctor about an eye infection so there is no embarrassment or shame because no one will ever know you are there for "family planning". It doesn't matter if you're 13 or 31, male or female or whatever you just simply pick up the phone ask for an appointment and in you go everything is free and confidential and you can normally get an appointment that very day and "Family Planning" covers absolutely everything. You can go and get free condoms, free pill, free iud, free injection, free implant, etc, etc, free pregnancy test, free morning after pill (plan b), full sexual health test, if you have sti then free treatment, free advice from Dr's and Nurses about anything and everything, if you are pregnant and don't want to continue the pregnancy they phone the hospital and hey that's you free abortion, free counselling.

So yes as you can see a 13/14/15 year old can just ring a free phone number ask what local hospital or clinic is running the family planning and go along and find out anything they want from a qualified sexual health nurse or doctor and it's all free and confidential. Like I said the family planning is all NHS and is run alongside people who are going in to see about an eye infection or a bad back or getting their cast of their broken arm so bo one knows why you are there. To give an example of how accessible they are one of the family planning things is run at the NHS clinic at the bottom of my street, literally less than a minute to walk to on foot and is also were my 80 old Grandmother goes for her bad feet lol and the other closest one to me is in the local hospital which is about 10 minutes away on the bus which is incidentally across from a high school. You will always find the clinics and hospitals that run the family planning are always within walking distance from a school and there is normally 4/5 of them in a town and there is literally hundreds in a city. So yes I would say it's pretty good here.

I read that in the magazine too.

Stupid. Condoms work much better than chopping off a perfectly healthy part of an infant.
