Should I Wait To Tell My Mom? **:)37Weeks(:** Due May 26 (boy); Colorado Springs, Colorado 102 posts

So im 18 years old and pregnant with my 2nd. Im trying to figure out when i should tell my mom... Everyone knows except my family. This is because during my first pregnancy she completely disowned me and had my family against me as well. She wouldnt help me at all. I had to get medical insurance and everything by myself ( which is extremely hard at 16, when your mom didnt give you anything to prove who you are) Im thinking i might just let her figure it out by herself. But that just might cause more problems... I really dont know what to do. But i know she has her suspicions...

Do you live with her?

Um....tell her.
You're 18, therefor an adult in the legal sense of the word. I would say time to act like one and just tell her.

If you live with her, you need to tell her.

Tell her, hiding it from her will only make her more upset.

She's going to be 10x's more pissed if she hears it from someone else.

Be an adult and tell her, she will get over it eventually.

:!: if you're living in someone's house, you should tell them. it is disrespectful to add another human being to the mix and not tell them...

I think it depends on how you feel. It would be nice of you to tell her, but if you don't then that's your decision because you are an adult:)

either way, you're an adult. you should be able to tell her. parents know that their babies will grow up and have babies. it's not like she didn't know it would happen eventually.
