I wonder why. I've had most of my stuff for at least 5 yrs and its still just as sturdy as when I bought it.

My son got a play kitchen...he was 2 and had a great time with it for about a year..then my dd used it..for a lnoger time. She was around 1 and a halfish when she started using it.

Out of those. I'd definitely go with Ikea, based on looks!!! It's simple/modern...



But we have a kidkraft for our girls and it's great. No complaints. And ALL their play food is Melissa and Doug, so you can't go wrong with any of those...
