Quoting [kylie]:" i bought a purse on ebay on october 6th and paid immediately. a week later the seller marked my item ... [snip!] ... should just escalate to a claim already? i've given her 2 chances to handle this, and now she's just being a donkey. opinions?"
yeah i would escalate.
Yes I would esclate to a claim. She's probably seen that you open a claim and hasn't done anything. That is a big red flag for me. I believe you only have 45 days to file a claim so it's getting close.
Escalate it sounds suspicious to me!
File a claim with e-bay. Thats ridiculous.
Where is the purse coming from?
Escalate it. Clearly something is up if she can't give you the damn confirmation number.
Quoting [kylie]:" thanks ladies, i escalated it! i'm betting she either didn't ship or didn't get a DC#. someone else just ... [snip!] ... do it, and if i'll actually see anything from this. it was $25. not the end of the world, but still i'd like my money back!"
You should get your money back. If she doesn't have the funds, ebay/paypal will refund you anyway.

It will send her account into a negative.
