*I am on hold with the pedi, so if you suggest that, it's already being done right now*
Cora was out walking through leaves and suddenly grabbed her eye and started crying
It bled and looks bloodshot but I couldn't tell where the 2 drops of blood came from
After about 5 minute, she was totally calm and laughing.
She can follow my finger, see things near and far when I cover her eye. No visible swelling. She isn't even playing with it like it hurts or anything now
The Triage Nurse is going to call me back.
What do you all think? (Eye injuries freak me out so I might have over reacted but there was blood and her eye is slightly red)
I would still be concerned eyes and blood still follow through
maybe a stick poked her in the eye? thats my guess. but she sounds ok if she can follow your finger, vision is ok, laughing now etc
Quoting Mrs cree:" I would still be concerned eyes and blood still follow through"
The triage nurse called back quick
She said to keep an eye on it and wait and see.
doesnt sound like there was any "injury" kids get hurt.. and bounce back quickly. why are you calling the doctor....?
Nah, she is fine. You'd know if something was wrong as far as immediate eye injury.
Quoting shes*almost*one!:" doesnt sound like there was any "injury" kids get hurt.. and bounce back quickly. why are you calling the doctor....?"
Cause there as blood coming from her eye area
Quoting Kelly&Coralie:" Cause there as blood coming from her eye area"
2 little drops that stopped? If you to be dramatic and call that an "injury" cool, but its definitely not doctor worthy. Especially with the rest of the information you provided. This is supposed to reassure you and make you feel better! You know how you tend to overreact and freak out... /
