Glen Beck this morning was saying we should all buy farm land because there won't be any food, we should all move to texas, blah blah blah pretty much saying the Socialist Apocalypse was upon us.

Done, done, and thinking about moving back to Texas instead of DC. I'm sure I've mentioned before, but I really, really, really like and relate with Glenn Beck. He's my favorite out of all the talk shows I listen to (Beck, Limbaugh, Hannity, Savage, and Levin).

Well, approximately 51 % of Americans voted for Obama, and only 10% o the population is on any form of welfare... so what about the other 40%?

Honestly? I really do think it was about the color of his skin (largest african american turn out other than 2008) and women voters being scared of Roe v Wade being overturned (wasn't going to happen).

I also think the main stream media's coverage of Benghazi (or lack there of) helped him out a lot and they are really biased. Most people don't research candidates past what the TV tells them.

Soooooo....

I was listening to liberal talk radio today (I live in Portland, afterall) and they had a conservative call in and was saying that they felt like Beck and Hannity and all them have been lying to conservatives and those pundits wanted Obama to lose and gave you guys false hope because it keeps them rich and employed when their base is pissed off.

Whaddyathink? I never listen to any pundits, so I don't have much of an opinion.

Nope. Though it pisses me off that uninformed people vote. I really think they should bring back the poll test and require it to vote. Or, maybe the citizenship test.

I don't think they lie to me or anyone that listens to them. Yes, they tell us what we want to hear, but lately Beck has gotten away from the elections and has been focusing more on talking about his charity and helping people. He didn't seem as into it as he was in 2008. He was a Santorum guy.

NEW YORK (CNNMoney) -- More than one in three Americans lived in households that received Medicaid, food stamps or other means-based government assistance in mid-2010, according to a new report.

And when Social Security, Medicare and unemployment benefits are included, nearly half of the nation lived in a household that received a government check, according to the analysis of third-quarter 2010 Census data done by the Mercatus Center at George Mason University, a libertarian-leaning think tank. That's more than 148 million Americans.

You must know nothing. When people go to the emergency room and don't have insurance, they can be seen. Then the hospital has to bill them right, well guess what? Majority of the time, THEY DONT PAY. So guess who gets charged more? Insurance companies. Then the insurance companies say, "well f**k it, if we have to pay more we're charging higher prices to those who we insure. So then we pick up the tab in higher premiums. So either way, if Obamacare was in act or not, you will still be paying crazy prices in insurance. And the affordable health act helps people with pre exisiting conditions not be turned down when they want to get insurance, or when newborn babies are born with conginital diseases the parents don't have to worry about their child being turned away and left to die!

I don't agree with someone who equates thinking birth control shouldn't have a co pay with him being able to watch her have sex.

<fully believes that. But I would. What liberal show were you listening to? I only listen to talk radio like 11-6 (on and off when I'm in the car) so I don't hear the morning shows.
